Stray Kids Fans Speculate JYP Marketing Job Openings Signal Potential Promotion Overhaul
JYP Entertainment has posted multiple job openings in its Artist Part division, the team responsible for overseeing Stray Kids, sparking widespread discussion and cautious optimism among the group’s fans.
In mid-April 2026, the agency listed positions in marketing, fan marketing, SNS management, video production, design, and managerial roles. The listings quickly caught the attention of STAYs, many of whom have long expressed frustration over what they perceive as insufficient promotion for Stray Kids despite the group’s massive global success, sold-out world tours, and consistent chart performance.
On social media, fans began speculating that the new hires could indicate a much-needed refresh of the promotional team. Some creative STAYs were even encouraged by others to apply, hoping fresh perspectives would bring stronger visibility and strategic planning for the eight-member group.

While many welcomed the development as a positive step, others cautioned that similar recruitment drives are common at growing agencies, including recent postings at SM Entertainment, and may simply reflect routine expansion rather than a targeted overhaul.
Stray Kids, who debuted in 2018 under JYP, have built one of the strongest international fandoms in K-pop through self-produced music and dedicated fan engagement. However, some supporters have repeatedly voiced concerns that the group’s domestic and international promotion has not always matched their achievements.
As of now, JYP Entertainment has not commented on whether the openings are linked to specific changes in Stray Kids’ team. The speculation nevertheless highlights the deep investment fans have in the group’s long-term career trajectory.
The job postings remain open, and many in the fandom are watching closely to see if the new hires will translate into enhanced promotional efforts in the months ahead.
