BABYMONSTER Secures First Major Award at the 2025 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong

BABYMONSTER, has achieved a significant milestone by winning their first major award at the 2025 MAMA Awards held in Hong Kong. The seven-member group was honored with the fan-voted Fans' Choice Female Top 10 award on Chapter 1 (Day 1) of the event.

The group joins other powerhouse female acts in the Top 10 list, including aespa and TWICE. During their acceptance, the members expressed deep gratitude to their fanbase, known as "Montiez," and offered condolences in light of a recent fire tragedy in Hong Kong, an incident that led to the cancellation of the event's red carpet portion out of respect for the victims.

BABYMONSTER, who officially debuted in April 2024, made their debut performance at a major Korean award show that night. They commanded the stage with an electrifying medley performance of their tracks, 'WE GO UP' and 'DRIP,' showcasing impressive live vocals, sharp choreography, and Ahyeon's standout high notes which had the audience engaged and singing along.

The 2025 MAMA Awards, a two-day event taking place at the Kai Tak Stadium, also saw other big winners on Day 1, with IVE and Enhypen securing multiple awards, including IVE winning Favorite Female Group and Enhypen winning the Daesang (Grand Prize) for Fans' Choice of the Year.
