BABYMONSTER’s “SHEESH” Becomes First MV to Surpass 400 Million Views on YouTube

BABYMONSTER has achieved a significant milestone as their debut title track “SHEESH” has become the group’s first music video to surpass 400 million views on YouTube.

The music video reached the impressive mark on April 17, 2026, at approximately 8 a.m. KST, roughly two years and 16 days after its release on April 1, 2024. This achievement solidifies “SHEESH” as BABYMONSTER’s most successful title track on the platform to date.

Released as the lead single from their first mini album BABYMONS7ER, “SHEESH” quickly gained attention for its powerful choreography, fierce concept, and the group’s strong vocal and rap performances. The track helped establish the seven-member act — Asa, Ahyeon, Ruka, Rora, Chiquita, Pharita, and Rami — as one of the most promising 5th-generation girl groups since their official debut in 2024 under YG Entertainment.

The milestone comes as BABYMONSTER continues to build momentum with consistent promotions and growing international recognition. Fans (known as MONSTIEZ) celebrated the news enthusiastically across social media, praising the members’ hard work and the song’s lasting impact.

“SHEESH” previously broke several records for a rookie girl group, including the fastest debut MV to reach 100 million views. Its steady viewership growth highlights the group’s enduring appeal even two years after release.

YG Entertainment has not yet issued an official statement on the 400 million view milestone. However, the achievement is being widely viewed as a strong indicator of BABYMONSTER’s solid foundation and long-term potential in the highly competitive K-pop industry.

As the group prepares for future releases, including their upcoming third mini album CHOOM in May, this latest YouTube record further cements their rising status among global audiences.
